ADM Malting Division,
a division of Archer Daniels Midland, operates independently as one of
the largest malting companies in the world, yet can rely on its parent
company for stability and a supplemental product portfolio. Supplemental
products encompass everything from raw and processed grain products (adjuncts)
to biochemically produced ingredients for the food and feed industries.
ADM Malting Division has operations in four plants
in the continental United States (Chicago; Red Wing, Minnesota; Milwaukee,
Wisconsin; and Manitowoc, Wisconsin) and one in Canada (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
for timely deliveries throughout North America with a minimum of freight-related
costs. The company uses a combination of "old world" Saladin box processing
and "new world" malt analysis techniques to provide brewers the best
quality products possible.
ADM Malting Division also maintains a fully staffed
customer services/research laboratory to meet the growing needs of the
industry. The laboratory provides assistance troubleshooting malt-related
brewing difficulties and runs beer analyses in its pilot plant to investigate
brewery problems that affect the finished beer. This laboratory and
pilot plant operate commercially, but are available to support established
customers free of charge; noncustomers may take advantage of ADM services
on a contract basis.

ADM Malting Division produces two brewers' malts intended to complement
any beer style. The barley may be processed in any one of the company's
American and Canadian facilities. They are available in bulk only.
