Update New Point Person at BrewingTechniques
We are pleased to announce that the ongoing control and management of
BrewingTechniques (back issues and online archive) now belongs to
Joachim Schulz and Open Space Communication. As some of you may
remember, Joachim was instrumental in the magazine's start-up and
development. He was a primary investor, and during the magazine's
early days served as sales director and business manager. Joachim and
his new business have agreed to take on responsibility for management
of back issues sales and possible future development of the web site.
Please join me in welcoming him as the new "face" of
BrewingTechniques.
Joachim is committed to providing loyal readers and new customers
with service befitting the magazine's legacy of quality. For those
accustomed to receiving order confirmations, email replies, and web
updates from me, please don't be shocked as you see the name Joachim
Schulz on them in the future!
As in the past, the primary goal of commercial sales will continue to
be the liquidation of hard-copy back issues to satisfy company debts.
Joachim will also continue my commitment to preserving the online
archive, and possibly expanding or improving it in the future. The
magazine's goals and values remain the same; only the hand at the
wheel has changed.
Please direct all correspondence to brewtech2004@yahoo.com. As in the
past, answering specific brewing-related questions is outside the
scope of BrewingTechniques' abilities at this time. If you have a
content-related question or need help accessing suppliers and service
providers, please see the About page for helpful links
and pointers to useful information.
I know I have said this many times, but one last time I want to thank
the brewing community from the bottom of my heart for being so
gracious to me and so supportive of this effort we called
BrewingTechniques. It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of
this community. I look forward to seeing BrewingTechniques live on
well into the future!
Cheers,
